Caracalla, 198-217. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 28.75 g, 12 h), Rome, 211. M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Laureate head of Caracalla to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. VICT BRIT TR P XIIII COS III / S C Victory standing right, placing her right foot on helmet and erecting trophy, consisting of helmet, cuirass, shields, spears and greaves; to right, Britannia, veiled, standing facing with her hands bound behind her back; at her feet, bound captive seated to left.
